In Cuba, Carnaval is a celebration marked with parades and street performances featuring dance and music. The festivities feature a diverse range of influences and interests rooted in multicultural Cuban history. Although not directly linked to Carnaval, Casino is a Cuban dance style popularized in social clubs.

Casino is an elegant and energetic partner dance that originated in Cuba in the 1950s from son, chachachá and danzón. Rueda de Casino is a fun and dynamic group dance that involves switching partners and performing moves in unison according to a caller.

Registration is encouraged but not required. Recommended for ages 6 and up.
