BodyVox & Imani Winds: Beautiful Everything

A celebration of beauty and life, where every layer of this performance is a world unto itself. The playful BodyVox—co-led by alum Jamey Hampton '76—teams up with Imani Winds for an enchanting evening of visual and sonic sensation.

The program unfolds in four parts—Genesis, Flora, Fauna and Humanum—a journey through the evolution of the natural world and its magnificent beauty. Imani Winds underscores the action with evocative music by Philip Glass, Debussy, Mark Mothersbaugh of Devo, John Adams, Chick Corea, Brian Eno and Mario Lavista. All while the dancing bodies dressed in eccentric costumes move through ever-changing patterns and stunning video projections.
